Executive Summary
UDC works across ten business areas โ including procurement, supplier onboarding, leasing, facilities, projects, finance, HR, employee performance, investor relations, and marketing. Each area handles many documents, decisions, and daily tasks. Today, this knowledge is spread out across emails, ERP systems, scanned PDFs, and the heads of individual staff members.
This proposal lays out a two-year plan to build one central Document & Data Hub, plus a set of AI chatbots and agents that use Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG). RAG simply means the AI looks up real UDC documents before it answers, so its replies are based on facts, not guesses.
The AI will help staff draft RFPs, summarise contracts, sort maintenance requests, check invoices, guide property buyers, send deadline reminders, and measure how much time AI itself saves the team. Everything is built to follow Qatar's PDPL, QFMA, and CRA rules.
Board Approval Request
A 24-month programme costing QAR 18 โ 32 M, split into seven phases.
We start with a 3-month discovery phase and a small procurement pilot.
Every phase ends with a working tool that UDC can actually use โ so value comes step by step, not just at the very end.
